New Media Installations — Focus: Romania

This year, Music Gallery continues to bring music and visual art together — and one of the works on display could be yours. We want to support young artists and offer a space for creative expression, so we are launching an open call for New Media installations.

The open call is dedicated to students in architecture, multimedia, arts and design who are passionate about experimentation and the connection between sound, image and emotion.

This year’s theme is Focus: Romania, and the proposed works should explore it freely and from a personal perspective. The selected work will be physically exhibited in the gallery and will receive a prize.

How to apply

Submit by 28 October 2026, 23:59 to contact@musicgallery.ro:

• a sketch of the project;
• a short presentation of the concept;
• a short motivation explaining why your installation fits the Music Gallery context.

Let’s bring together sound, image and the story of music in Romania!

The installations open call is part of the Music Gallery – Sounds Of Resistance project, funded by the Administration of the National Cultural Fund (AFCN).
